Nothing stops us from sliding at Vegas Drift!

June days are not kind. And Sunday morning was no exception. But that didn’t stop anyone from making the most of the last daytime event this season of Vegas Drift. Originally scheduled to be the first night time event, EDC had other plans. It’s been weeks since they packed up but apparently are still taking up some real estate with leftover items needing to be freighted out. But in either case Vegas Drift is resilient. As are all these drivers that came out to combat the track even in sweltering heat.

I had a great day under a collection of canopies trying to protect ourselves from the elements best we could. We were in good company with 5 drivers putting it down between the road course tracks and wet pad. I managed to snag a bunch of photos around the event for all to enjoy. I encourage everyone who is looking to let off some steam and hoon your car to get involved with Vegas Drift at the next event. It’s the perfect place to safely and inexpensively get involved in regulated motorsports where all vehicles and drivers are welcome. Beginners can test their luck at the wet pad which is much less taxing on your vehicles. Speed is not important here but control. You learn your car in a safe environment where spinning out is all just part of the process. When you’ve confidently mastered it you’ve got multiple other tracks of varying difficulties to try after that. We challenge you to become a master of them all!
