Close up look at Dom Toretto’s 1968 Dodge Charger “Hellacious”

I got a chance at the Grand National Roadster show to spend the weekend with my favorite detailing brand Aero Detail Products. They had a pretty sweet space right up by the event’s main stage. Just before that stage was a bunch of top notch cars including the actual Fast and Furious franchises “F9” used Charger “Hellacious”.

From Topspeed.com I got all the specs. Originally a 1968 Dodge Charger 500 this thing got a transplanted 6.2 Supercharged Hemi Hellcat Redeye engine. Placed mid engine it’s driven by a Lamborghini Gallardo transmission. Those together put down a whopping 716 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Built by Speedkore this thing is a legit as it gets. Fully functional. Street legal. And an absolute icon that is remembered better than many of the cars that have come and gone since the original The fast and the furious debut back in 2001!
