Silver State run with Vegas Elite car club
Here’s a little something different for you and I readers. Usually I’m too wrapped up in life to let myself get out and have a little fun. But thanks to friends of the Vegas Elite car club I was able to dust the car off and take a cruise.
Meeting up bright and early at 6am we got started at the local Ikea. Hit the road on our way to the center of Henderson on our way to pass Lake Las Vegas. Took the scenic route around Lake Mead to get to the back entrance of Valley of Fire. We stopped for a little lunch, some photos and to enjoy the unusual weather. Hoping back in the cars we connected back with civilization at the Moapa Paiute gas station where we got a glimpse of some pre production Mercedes-Benz on the road. From what I could find it’s probably a 2024 AMG GT and a 2024 G-Class! I’ll share those photos once I know I can legally in a seperate post. They were not entertained that I snuck a few photos before they could drive off. Oh well. The group made our decent back to the complete opposite side of the city to Mountain Springs saloon to recuperate over lunch. Over the course of 6 hours we had made a complete circle around this tiny place we call home and explored some of its greatest visual wonders. Being amongst some really beautiful looking cars and the great people behind their wheel was a definite bonus and I look forward to the next outing.
