The American Patriot Fest and Las Vegas’ own, Steve Darnell, the owner of Welder Up and star of the hit TV show Vegas Rat Rods, have joined forces to help military and veteran charities in the Las Vegas Valley. A vintage motorcycle customized by Darnell will be raffled with proceeds benefiting nonprofit organizations.
The public is invited to the reveal of the custom motorcycle on Wednesday, May 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Henderson Harley-Davidson located at 1010 W. Warm Springs Rd. The free event will close with the departure of the American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT), a Vietnam Memorial Wall, escort. The escort will end at Craig Ranch Regional Park, located at 628 W. Craig Rd., where the AVTT will be on display 24 hours a day from May 10-13, including during the 360Carshow & American Patriot Fest on Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tickets for the raffle will be available for purchase for $10 each at the 360 carshow booth at the CARS & STRIPES booth . Funds raised through ticket sales benefit local non-profit charities which support a variety of critical military and veteran causes from wounded troops, suicide prevention and support of families in need.
